Anti-Hangry Dark Chocolate Protein Bars


I don't know about you guys, but whenever I get hungry I get HANGRY (Hanger- When you are so hungry that your lack of food causes you to become angry, frustrated or both.)! And whenever I get hangry I want to eat EVERYTHING, specially CHOCOLATE! So here's a yummy, healthier version of your typical chocolate bar and it only takes a few minutes to make! _______________________________________________ What you will need for the Dark Chocolate bars:

  • 1 scoop Young Living protein powder

  • 1 cup dark chocolate (or cacoa) chips

  • 1 tsp. coconut oil

  • 1 Packet Truvia

Directions: In a bowl, microwave chocolate chips and coconut oil for 30 seconds. Stir and microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Mix until melted and smooth. Add remaining ingredients to the bowl and stir until combined. Pour mixture into paper-lined muffin pan, filling cups only about a quarter of the way. Move pan to freezer to set and harden. Once they have hardened enjoy and store extras back into the fridge or freezer! To make Dark Chocolate & Peppermint bars: Add one drop of Young Living's Peppermint essential oil to the chocolate mixture, stir, and pour your mixture into the paper-lined muffin pan. To make Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter bars: Pour just enough of your chocolate mixture into the paper cup to fill the bottom, add a spoonful of almond butter, and pour your chocolate mixture on top until you can't see the almond butter.
